I fell in love

While I was away:

Gorgeous, no?  I could swoon all day ;).

It was lovely just to get away from the normal surroundings, even if it was only a very short trip.  We stayed across the road from the Seaford Foreshore:

I changed the exposure on this so won't include the settings...

Seaford’s is right next to Frankston so we stopped by Frankston Waterfront for me to snap a few shots:

Other than the beaches, the small family getaway was comprised of watching Luke Nguyen’s Vietnam and the 2009 Star Trek, reading whilst in the spa (best de-stresser EVER), D&Ms with my parents (love those guys ♥) and just lazing around on the deck of our apartment:

I've also decided I will buy a house with an attic one day...

Foodwise, there was nothing to write home worth blogging about.  It was a time to relax for us and that meant not necessarily making much of an effort with our meals, as can be seen with dinner on our first night:

Though, pretty good Fish and Chips...

It would have been nice if we had more time, but I got to have two sunsets so I’m glad:

The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands. - Psalm 19:1

Well, the self-imposed hiatus from food blogging has now ended so be prepared for some exciting foodie adventures :D.  It’s good to be back (for real), blog-o-sphere!
